I'm at my cabin, where there is only a DVD player and internet (for three days a week) to entertain me. Well, there's also hiking, and shopping in town, but I've been too lazy to drive anywhere this week.
So instead, I've been watching all of my DVDs. Which I have a lot of. Veronica Mars, Firefly, Buffy, Angel, Alias... and all the other good stuff. And the not so good stuff that I still have to give away, so I won't be embarrassed if people see it.
I'm watching the first season of Veronica Mars right now. Remember Troy? Troy was nice. But of course he turned out to be a drug dealer with a girlfriend whose name didn't happen to be Veronica. And then there was Leo, the crimefighting guitar player who smiled all the time, like Ben on Felicity (which I watched the first and second seasons of) and said everything in a very annoying mumble.
I wonder who Rob Thomas is going to make Veronica end up with? It seems likely that Logan is the answer to that question, but knowing his twists, it'll probably be someone like Wallace.
(Please, please, RT, DON'T do that.)
Well, hopefully the third season will be good, and won't go downhill. I've now gotten my sister, my two best friends, and my physical therapist hooked on the series, so we're all anticipating the next episode. And the suitcase. I think there'll be a dead body in it, which just goes to show how bad Desperate Housewives can be for your health. Even if you stop watching it because it's so boring and you end up not being able to relate to a single plot, and yelling at the TV whenever Susan gets into another "hilarious" situation.
Oh, Marc Cherry- they aren't hilarious. They're repetitive and induce major eyerolling. At least from me.
That settles it- tomorrow, hiking.
